Fauci Says Vax Mandate for School Kids Is a Good Idea

Mandating COVID-19 vaccines for children to attend school in person is a "good idea", according to Dr. Anthony Fauci. He told CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday he knows there's intense debate around the subject, but mandating vaccines for school kids "is not something new." "We have mandates in many places in schools, particularly in public schools, that if in fact, you want a child to come in -- we've done this for decades and decades requiring (vaccines for) polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis." Top health officials say they hope a COVID-19 vaccine will be approved for use in 5 to 11-year-olds by the winter.
